Upgrading Your Existing Account

If you're an existing customer and are eligible to upgrade your device, you have the option to upgrade your individual account or upgrade a line on your family account. If you want to upgrade an account with one line of service, select "I have an individual account". If you're interesting in upgrading a line on an existing family account, choose "I am part of a family account".

Wireless service providers generally approve upgrades for lines of service that are at least 22 months into a 24-month contract and are in good financial standing. We'll determine your eligibility with your service provider during the checkout and order placement process.

You may be required to select a new phone, plan, and service options.

This option is not supported by T-Mobile through AmazonWireless.

Checking Your Eligibility

When you enter your account information into the AmazonWireless Eligibility Checker, AmazonWireless will share the information you provided with your wireless carrier. You'll know within 30 seconds if you're eligible to upgrade on AmazonWireless.
