This phone is awesome. I have been anticipating getting this phone for quite sometime now. I am an avid cell phone addict and i read the reviews. This phone is it. Even when compared to the iPhone it honestly just blows it away in a class all its own. Having been from the Galaxy S from Verizon to the Htc Shift... Even the ever popular iPhone and i can tell you now this is it.
Its very user friendly. From the driod pros to the newbies... This phone will keep you coming time and time again.. You wont ever want to put it down. The screen is amazing... Phone calls come in crystal clear and itd userability sets it apart from all the rest. Samsung has won my heart again with this phone... So has Sprint.
To those who complain of battery power... Its an android and it lasts longer then the iPhone 4s did AND you can add more memory to it unlike the iPhone. This is the real deal folks!!!

Sucks battery
GPS is very, very sporadic often not even close to right location and slow
Sprint doesn't have nearly the coverage of AT&T (I travel a lot)

I switched from an iPhone 4 on AT&T to this phone on Sprint several months ago, and I regret it immensely. I no longer really use my phone for day to day tasks. The battery life has been awful. With very minimum use (no talk time during work, just checking the time occasionally), everything turned off except for sound, I can expect my phone battery to be around 45-50% by 5pm. If I use it to browse Facebook every now and then, it will be dead by 6pm. Using GPS, which rarely seems to work as it does not update my location regularly (it will continue to place me 30 miles away at home, or at work randomly and refuse to update without restarting the phone completely), and I can expect a 20% drop in battery life by the time I reach my destination 20 minutes away. Yes, yes, I've turned the brightness down and utilized every tip I have researched on improving the battery life, but it just isn't working out for me. I also just don't receive text messages or phone calls about 15% of the time, which is horrible for emergency systems at work. I enjoy the ability to customize my phone and such with Android, but I feel like that sort of freedom comes at a fairly hefty cost compared to the iPhone, and I am no Apple fanboy; I am a pc and open source loyalist for the most part, so I was disappointed when I switched and found all these horrid issues. The screen is nice, the feel of it is great, but if I can't use it reliably for GPS or worry about preserving battery life, I don't really care about those luxuries.
Android and Galaxy S2 - big lies

I own this phone for 3 months now after switching from iPhone. Here is experience:
Pros: no real advantage over iPhone so no benefit.
Cons:
1. half baked and cheap user interface of iPhone.
2. I have same set of apps that I had on iPhone yet I can tell the quality of same apps differs on both platform. Android app sucks.
3. Apps throws errors here n there. Reminds me of windows XP.
4. Battery life sucks really really bad. I keep 4g and maps ON for 2 hrs and phone is dead.
5. This is biggie. Maps takes infinite time to find current location. Cant believe google maps wont work well on their own platform. This is very frustrating because maps is what I need the most on my smartphone.
6. 4g is a big lie. Its only available in rare area but most of the time even 3g has issues on sprint
7. Wifi range is worst. I Dont get signals in my bedroom which is 15 feets and 2 walls away from router. Big failure. My old iPhone and iPad works like charm.
Dont go by hypes. Dont waste money in this phone. You may get it for free on deal day but still you will pay for voice and data. you will hardly use 3g n 4g as its reallly slow or not avail so you will end up using wifi when avail, that too within good range.
