It is good at what it does. November 20, 2012
The Htc Wildfire S was what I expected, A Phone with a very good camera, great audio pick up and, starts falling short about there. The internal memory is a issue that should had been dealt with in the development stage, since the phone is loaded with bloatware that is both quite useless and can't be removed, A low memory mode that does..nothing a power saver mode that does..nothing. I have found that you can't do anything with the phone once the memory is full, like checking the pictures on your SD card for that matter. That camera and that flash oh boy makes it almost worth the..whats that other phones are cheaper with better cameras? with better memory as well? then why get the WildFire S? It is cute...well i can not argue that it is very cute. I find it trash bin worthy.

I used this phone for 6months. i have trouble with touchscreen and every week it asks me to restart the phone. With new SW this seems to have improved but now my battery only last 12-14hrs. I called HTC support and they said they only guarantee the batter for 4-6 HOURS. AGAIN JUST 4-6 HOURS (NOT DAYS). this is the customer service to expect. I told it used to last 2-3 days before and not only half a day and they tell me if it was working better before doenst mean we gurantee that, we only guarantee only 4-6 hrs. This is poor service. So beware before you buy this device.
Terrible phone July 2, 2012

This phone is a nightmare. Power consumption is very high, so that the phone will barely make it through the day. The touch screen reacts very slow. But worst of all is that the phone is so ridiculously under-equipped with internal memory. The exchangeable SD card doesn't make up for this, since many apps will only install on the internal memory of the phone. Your memory will be clogged up in no time, with only a few apps installed. The screen is an endless source of frustration; the bar with the permanently installed touch-buttons "home", "search" etc. is so close to the rest of the screen area, that you will find yourself frequently exiting applications involuntarily while for instance typing text messages. All in all a halfheartedly thought-out and engineered cell phone; not to speak of the crude design.
OK for 1st time smartphone user June 7, 2012
Got it from other places. Used it for 6 months.
found that it has the following pros and cons
Small, and lighted
Good camera, the picture quality is better than Iphone 4
Only have 512mb internal memory, and only about 150mb available for apps installation
So the memory will be fulled quickly.
Can't install too many apps.
When the memory is almost fulled, you can't syn the email and contacts.
As the screen is small, the keypad is not too good to type
The phone keypad of Iphone is much better than that phone
The battery drain fast, has to shut the bluetooth, GPS, Wifi in order to save power.
Almost need to charge every day
In conclusion, suggest to pay more to get a higher model phone.

Wildfire S is a wonderful little phone. With all of the Android features, its a great HTC device. A compact smartphone that does it all! You won't be disappointed.
